Trueing/Bending

Dimensionally accurate parts are a prerequisite for the smooth operations of subsequent processes such as in the construction of body panels and doors. In particular, heat treated castings or those with distortion undergo the straightening process and are brought into “shape”.

By surveying critical measurements, the actual values are determined and the target dimensions are achieved by plastic deformation in the straightening process.
